Can they sue if the fight was never officially announced?

    And Ortiz to PBC?

I have a feeling Ortiz really isn't going to accomplish much.

      Injury/Promotional issues/Dedication.

Something is going to do him in.

That's a darn dirty shame. Ortiz is a fan favorite. He could have built a bigger brand by appearing on a Canelo undercard. Boxing politics sucks sometimes.

******, ******, ******. Ortiz doesn't have time for promotional issues. It doesn't matter how bad/whatever it was. He should have ****** it up and kept fighting.

I like Ortiz I hope he doesn't go the Rigo route and start demanding unrealistic money and end up on the sidelines for years. He's almost 40 he can't afford contract disputes at his age.

I hope this isn't true. Ortiz is only hurting himself. Golden Boy needs to put the pedal to the medal for the Canelo undercard. Time is running out.

Ortiz needs to understand that the more he fights he gets the more money HBO and Golden Boy are willing to put in his wallet. Right now he is probably the most avoided Heavyweight right now due to the lack of money he brings to the table.

Golden Boy stood by his side with the whole Steroid thing now he seems to be turning his back on them. Feel bad for Oscar and company. Hopefully they have a master plan but this is a blow to them if this is true.

Ortiz probably has to cycle off and couldn't be clean for the September date..

Lmao, ortiz showing ******ity so common in boxers.. On the verge of landing a major major fight but instead, going to waste years fighting his promotional company, by the time it all clears up and he returns to actively fighting, he will be a faded old man..

Ward and mikey were at least proven stars before holding out,, ortiz is old and hasn't achieved anything yet..

                    Dumb move by ortiz
