One of the problems is that not everyone has HBO or Showtime, so unless you have somewhere to watch the fight chances are your not watching it. I canceled HBO because it was costing me an extra $35 a month with Time Warner. The only reason I have Showtime is because its free for a year, come December Showtime will be gone to. So if any fights come on HBO or Showtime and you don't have those channels, chances are your not going to watch the fights. That's why the fights that come on NBC or CBS do a million or more because of free TV. Sports bars really on do big PPV type fights whether its boxing or MMA. I'm not surprised by the numbers.

I know my education isnt a 1/10 of what Al Haymon has but I really question where he is going with PBC. LSC vs Frampton had FREE T.V. ALL OVER IT! After Thurman vs. Porter this wouldve been a strong move to keep the ball rolling but just like his boxers, his shows lose their momentum and people forget about them too. Only thing I can think of is this fight went up against UFC but UFC was a ppv so he couldve/shouldve treated all fight fans to something on non paid television. Showtime should only be used for guys like Broner so he can act how he wants to and not be censored.

The crowd was hype, I was hype, NSB was hype, and looking at those numbers you would've thought all these fights were duds, this is the card that should've been on NBC and shown to the masses.

there seemed not to be that much hype the weeks b4 the cruz/frampton fight.
not sure why. bet there will be way more hype now if they rematch next year. after frampton ****s up selby. and cruz is in a strait battle with russell jr.

... This was a "Showtime Championship Boxing" card, not a "Premier Boxing Champions"... which is quite different... it's true that the fighters are signed with uncle Al as "adviser", but the card itself was Showtime's... and there ain't no PBC card on Showtime...

What makes it even worst is you can't just go to a bar or restaurant and watch HBO or Showtime Boxing matches. I have better luck catching a PPV fight when I travel then an HBO/Showtime (Especially Showtime) fight!! I get all kinds of crazy looks when I ask the bartender if they have HBO??? They think I want to hang out and watch movies lol. Game of Thrones has been shown at bars I heard???

I don't mind paying I just have a hard time finding the fights. I signed up for Hulu Showtime for laptop but streaming suks. Even paid streaming...I loved when Mares/Leo was on ESPN. And Thurman/Porter on CBS
