common sense man, I like fighters but I can see through their team and their bull and hypocrisy

GGG has a growing fan base and many are casual fans who believe anything espn, hbo, showtime or ****** will tell them....he a monster doe...he feared doe.....more like his team isnt taking any risks until its a big fight for big $$ and will pad his record until then

the jig is up, and they "ducking doe" is beating a dead horse

Ward and Hunter explained their opponent selection and why we got Brand. Whereas GGG's team were in deed negotiations with Eubank and all of a sudden Brook gets announced. That tells me they were in talks all along and thats complete bull crap

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he's a foreigner with broken English. Just like Pacquiao. Americans have always thought that foreigners with broken English aren't intelligent. Which I disagree with. But listening to GGG and Pacquiao talk people will think they aren't very smart, naive, innocent, another foreigner being taken advantage of (which this country has a history of doing) and therefore they can't control their own careers. That's GGG's team gets the blame for his matchups while on the other hand nobody blames Roc Nation for not paying enough money to get Ward a decent opponent. That's also why you hear people blame Main Events for pulling out of the purse bid instead of putting some blame on Kovalev for not forcing Main Events to participate in the bid. The stereotypes of foreigners plays a lot into the way people react to GGG and his career decisions.

They obviously liked the deal, the UK exposure, etc. for Eubank, but when he wouldn't sign they decided the deal on the table from Hearn (for Brook) was the best deal, the only deal on the table, and went with it. The alternative was to walk away and hope to find something else (some random top 10-20 middleweight that no one cares about, or maybe some top 10-20 super middleweight). Whatever it maybe, that's all uncertain. They had certainty with Brook. The decided taking that fight was the best option the could hope for given the circumstances and then they can figure out something for December (whether it's Eubank again or a Al Haymon guy (since we know K2 is talking to him for potential fight in December), etc.

I understand the why and the how. Even if I don't like the Brook fight one bit I definitely understand why K2 took it.

bro....they were negotiating with both at the same time....it was obvious they kept fans attention with eubank but were in serious talks with Brook during the entire time

when fighters dont want certain fights, they dont sign for them

Frampton doesnt want to fight Rigo, he is just a man about it and said it publically

mark my words...GGG wont be fighting any legit middleweights unless its canelo and in the mean time it will be overmatched opponents most people will have to google.

its guys out their that will fight this guy and seriously doubt every top ten guy from 154-168 is shaking in their boots over GGG...they fight for a living man

Anyone that thinks Brook wasn't in the mix from the start is a gullible ******. There's a reason the Brook-Vargas negotiations were held up.

Pac knew he couldnt beat floyd so he didnt mind the first negotiations falling through

k2 and GGG knew he couldnt beat ward so they look to it as a future fight

                its not that complex

GGG and Pac arent puppets, they are grown men and have a say because they are the ones fighting

if GGG wanted to fight better opposition, he would be fighting better opposition. He is in his mid 30s, not some young guy like mikey Garcia.

Mikey didnt like decisions his team made, he made sacrifices and took control of his own career

GGG doesnt mind fighting no hopers and anyone who thinks other wise is naive and gullible

You guys act like Golovkin/K2 didn't first try and fight Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs & Eubank. You leave that out (for obvious reasons). Brook was only settled on after these guys passed on Golovkin and Hearn offered a good deal in the UK after working together for weeks on the Eubank fight.

Look, everyone knows it's a crappy fight. Golovkin fans on NSB aren't happy about it either (besides like two trolls). It sucks it came to this but that's boxing right now - there are a lot of guys ducking in this sport and guys like Golvokin & Rigondeaux can't even come close to getting the top guys in their division (just like Golovkin, Rigondeaux couldn't get LSC, Frampton or Quigg in his own division so Rigondeaux has had to settle on fighting some crappy opponents. It is what it is).
I was hoping you'd respond because right after I posted that you did the exact same thing I mentioned. You blamed K2 instead of putting any blame on Golovkin. I just posted a video of Hunter talking about how they couldn't get a top 10 LHW fight for Ward. We know Sharbanskky and Cleverly turned him down due to money, and Skolglund turned him down over drug testing. Yet I don't see anyone blaming Roc Nation for not being able to get Ward a fight. All the blame has been on Ward. Even with Rigo I've noticed people blame his promoter. And say Arum sabotaged him. Yet Rigo gets no blame for turning down fights and being inactive. I think people have a lesser standard for foreign fighters. That's my opinion but I've noticed it.

Ward is still fighting tune-ups so how could it have been anything but a "future fight"?

If they'd signed his bull**** contract they would still be waiting for him now!
