It is a very lucrative matchup

By way of comparison, BJS is promoted by Frank Warren and his fights are shown on BoxNation

BJS' last fight tanked both in attendance figures and PPV sales - it was actually postponed due to lack of demand despite being one of the biggest MW fights held in Britain in years

As such, we can only assume that Frank Warren is not willing to pay BJS what he wants for a GGG fight in Britain

So that leaves the US as the only option and as NEITHER fighter is a PPV star in the States, HBO regular is the only option and they simply dont have the budget to pay BJS what he wants

Even if you are correct regarding Saunders, that does not explain how the largely-unproven relatively-unknown welterweight Kell Brook can generate more money than Saunders..... let alone the 5.5mil discrepancy in my guess-timate above.

1) no way is 1.5mil even close to the best offer they could have made Saunders..... and nobody can argue with that
