They seemed to think the same about Eubank's purse also.

Certain posters have a vested interest in maintaining the line that K2/GGG are ducking certain fighters by offering them short money e.g. BJS, Jacobs, Lara, etc.

This conveniently ignores the fact that these guys are demanding way more than GGG has ever earned in a fight himself and would require a total budget exponentially more than HBO has ever put up for one of his US fights.

First off, I have no problem with the Mora/Jacobs fight. Then we'll see what's next. Mora is practically universally hated for whatever reason(s), and I was no fan... but then he showed some grit in his past few fights... and me being the underdog fan brought me around. I actually think he can beat Jacobs if he sticks to a solid game plan.

As for Jacobs himself, I hope GGG lights him up proper. The guy hated doing the Mora rematch, because Mora dropped him hard. And Jacobs remembers what Pirog did to him... and that GGG hits even harder... and Jacob's chin is china plated.

Saunders would be a great fight for any top MW to test him. Let him get paid well, he deserves it... just not 5 mil. Maybe vs Canelo. Just get back in the ring bubba. Time's wasting.
