Sometime this year Jacobs said he wanted to fight Golovkin within the next year and a half.

After the Mora fight was made, Jacobs tweeted that he wanted to fight Golovkin. Not joking at all, unless the article and tweet were fake.

You do realize that Danny Jacobs said on camera before, "I am not ready to fight GGG yet." Literally almost exactly in those words.

Now GGG doesn't want to fight Jacobs? Stop embarrassing yourself lol. There's only ONE fighter that GGGs team were not clearly ready to fight and that's Andre Ward.

But to you and your delusional mind.... That means that GGG is the one carefully cherry picking and ducking everyone, until he fights Ward.... Lol

Danny Jacobs legit said on camera within the last two years that he "wasn't ready for GGG" yet and that Golovkin is the absolute man at 160 and he needs time.

The general consensus on NSB was respect to Jacobs for that statement, because we all said we like him as a fighter and basically agreed that he WAS NOT ready and would get starched.

There are a lot of clueless posters on here who know absolutely nothing of what they post about.

I know all about it... but fact of the matter is Eubank never seen a contract because of his dad , then why not offer a fight with Lara who's only 6 pounds from your weight class instead of offering the fight right away to Brook? Throw an offer out there and see if he's just talk. I'm sure Lara would have taken that same deal to fight GGG. Now without Hearn, would k2 be able to offer that kind of money to Lara? But it was worth a try. They didn't do it.

Now this all points to why The Brook-Vargas fight never got signed, it's because this was probably the plan all along. GGG is on record a few months back, saying Brook was too small, he won't fight him, blah blah. Now this, another hypocritical move by him and his team, but they want to judge everybody else?!?! It's nonsense dude and you know it. Me stating that in a short but sweet way, is what set you off on your BUTTHURT!

                Simply put: No

Hearn is paying GGG/K2 with Sky PPV money for the Brook fight.

A GGG-Lara fight would likely be on regular HBO with a purse fund likely to be less than 40% of that for the Brook fight

One good thing about the Jacobs-Mora fight is that it has established Danny's current market value: it's 500k

Sorry Danny, but "no chump change" excuses will cut it anymore when you are reduced to fighting for just that on a Friday night in Philly

Thats what i figured!! Well with that said both would have had to take less money to fight, but it's still a more realistic fight to me. Lara is closer to his weight class.

A fight is realistic if both guys will take it for the available money. so Brook is realistic, and Lara is not, esp with 2 months left to fight date, with Laras manager saying he commands a lot of money, he thinks the fight will be hard to make
