I can see how someone ends up with 9-3 Frampton, but I think such a score is very unfair to Santa Cruz.
Rather than be hung up on the 9-3 score, simply try to count the rounds that were clearly won by one fighter or the other (whether it'd be bacause one guy was laying in the shots, or the other guy wasn't throwing, or whatever other breakdown).

Not sure how you saw the fight, but I had at least 5 rounds in the "I don't know who won this one, but the general scoring guideline dissuades you from scoring 10-10" category.

Personally had it 5-5 after the 10th, but with so many rounds in the lurch anything inside of 10-2 was plausible to me.

It was a very close fight with a lot of toss up rounds. Ultimately I sided with the cleaner, more accurate puncher in Frampton as opposed to the spray 'n pray approach of Santa Cruz.

But really it's a shame that anyone had to lose. This was as evenly contested a matchup as you could get. Neither guy proved himself head and shoulders above the other.

I'm about to rewatch I had it a draw but I feel like a few rounds could of gone either way.

9-3 meant you filled the card out Friday Night or your from Ireland and related to Frampton!!!

I can respect any other card but a 9-3 card and I'll raise an eyebrow at 8-4 either way card went.

Not sure what close fight everyone else seems to have watched, Frampton seemed to win cleanly. Won more rounds convincingly I thought.

it just wasnt outworking it was leo outboxing..just bc he was on the front foot doesnt mean he wasnt doing that
