135 becoming exciting again?

For some absurd reason wasn't fight of the year.
Mikey's going to clean up 135 if he stays there. IMO the only true world class fighter in the divisionComment

If/when Loma moves to 135, I think it will become the next most exciting division (especially if Walters follows, no matter what happens). By that time Kova/Ward should be over and all eyes will turn to Loma.I think it's starting to heat up.
I want Loma to clean up 130 before going to 135. By then 135 should be even better.
If Verdejo proves to be the real deal then Top Rank has themselves a big fight in Lomachenko vs. Verdejo.
Like I said I want Loma to clean up 130 first. Lots of good fights to be made at 130. Hopefully they can get Loma more active. They have failed to do just that so far.
They should be marketing guys like Loma more. He is exciting for nearly all types of boxing fans- those who appreciate the skills/technical aspects & those who appreciate the high paced non-stop action. Dude has it all.Comment

HW is getting exciting again (but it hasn't yet despite what some people say) and everybody love the big boys.
Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Klitschko.
Any potential match-up between these fighters will make **** load of money.Comment

I would like to see how Mikey deals with a guy of Easter's size. With the way boxing works, this match-up probably won't ever happen.Comment

Loma has plenty of fights to be made at 130 (maybe even 126, even though there are a few reasons why I think Loma may not go back down to 126) and most of the fights can be made. The fights won't even cost much to make, but HBO's limited air time and limited budget isn't helping. A few years back Loma could have fought everybody at 126 and 130 in a span of two years (a little over two years). He would have been able to fight all the top guys at 130 in a little bit over a year, but things aren't like that anymore.If/when Loma moves to 135, I think it will become the next most exciting division (especially if Walters follows, no matter what happens). By that time Kova/Ward should be over and all eyes will turn to Loma.

If Loma were American, Mexican, or PR they would be marketing him like crazy, but he isn't. So they just put him to the side.
But yeah, I want Loma to clean up 130 before going up to 135. It will be worth it (Loma cleaning up 130).
That would also give Verdejo enough time to establish himself as a top Lightweight and then boom, a huge fight between Loma and Verdejo.
Obviously Verdejo would have to end up being what they're hoping for.
Mikey Garcia should also be there. I'm not too sure how Garcia does at 140. I think he'll find it better staying at 135 for a while. Just a hunch that I'm having.
Heavyweight will always be the division the people love the most (and the one that makes the most money), but that doesn't mean people can't also have their eyes on other fighters not in the Heavyweight division.Comment
