      for what its worth anyway.
Manny Pacquiao (2003-2005) was the last lineal champion at 126, that title is still vacated since champions are fighting each other

yeah id like to see Selby vs GRJnr too. Whichever fights they can make first. But i wouldnt say Selby or GRjnr need to earn the fight with Frampton

edit: now i look back, Mares wasnt lineal at 126. Not sure why i thought he was. Still a good win for Russell
126 was a mess with John not making the obvious fight of Ao to unify and make lineal champ. But the belt Russell won hasn't been vacant in 7 years. The WBA 140 belt has has been vacant twice last year for comparison.

It is a head scratcher to say the guy with the best belt has to earn his shot. I would love if they could do a deal that would give them huge purses in UK to unify the 3 belts held by Russell, Frampton and Selby

Why do people keep thinking winning the green belt make you a lineal champion?

At Heavyweight right now, no green belt

            at 122 no green belt

at 135 the last champion did not had a green belt

The lineal champ is whoever wins when 1 and 2 fight. Even the Ring belt isn't lineal as they'll give it to non lineal champ.

The WBC and WBA belt should have been unified but John held the WBA hostage.

People still think that Gary Lomachenko Jr. is a legit fighter? He lost a fight to a guy with only 1 win in his pro resume

I don't think Frampton beats GRJr or Lomachenko obviously, if he would fight there again.

                  Selby maybe.

                    He obviously meant Roger

Valdez is ranked number 1 by the WBO, and with the belt being vacant I'd go for that, and then try to get a big unification fight with Selby in the UK. He needs to stay away from Russell, and Rigo for at least a year IMO.

Who do you think comes out on top in each?
Don't you think Warrington could be made for Frampton?

I think Carl has earned himself If he fights once more this year someone who isn't as dangerous as Russell Jr.

I'd love to see him get Warrington or Selby this year November or early December that would be an absolute fantastic way to cap off an already brilliant year for him but I wouldn't put it past him taking a break and fighting early 2017 he has probably more than earned that right.
