People saying Santa Cruz should use his height and reach, but that's not how he fights and never has. He fights how he's most comfortable. If he was fighting in a way that isn't natural to him then Frampton would have had an easy nights work.

It's alright saying adjust or fight differently, but when you have another world class fighter stood in front of you, you can't just start doing thing you've never done before. Some fighters just have 1 style of fighting and that's it and it either works for them or it doesn't.

Frampton was a more versatile fighter. He could even beat Santa Cruz in the pocket at times.

The overall tempo of the fight, and when broken down round by round, showed Frampton clearly, and consistently landing the cleaner, harder shots.

Even when Santa Cruz painted Frampton's dome with clean 1-2's, and bounced his head with straight right hands, Frampton barely blinked. He was NEVER even close to being hurt by Santa Cruz. Frampton made Santa Cruz do a little shuffle, and jig... boooyyy doing that boooty dew, doe! Dat stanky leg, doe!!

And he visibly hurt Santa Cruz many times.

The absolute most rounds Santa Cruz could be given, would be 5 rounds (when judging by all the four criteria - effective aggression, defense, clean punching, and ring generalship), and you'd have to give him the benefit of the doubt in two of those rounds...

Frampton clearly won 7 rounds; Cruz clearly won 3 rounds. The other two rounds were up for debate, and IMO, Frampton won.

Rigo, I agree, is in a class of his own, and neither of these guys want anything to do with him... But boxing is a business, and if he could draw flies to ****, like Floyd could, then they'd be lining up to fight him - just the way boxing works... Gary Russell Jr.? I think he would probably stop Santa Cruz - Santa Cruz is just too damn slow... If Frampton made him look disgustingly slow and clumsy, then Russell definitely would. Frampton, and Russell Jr., however, is a 50/50 fight.

Valdez? He hasn't even beaten an elite opponent yet. He hasn't earned a fight with either of these guys yet.
Agreed. I don't think Leo ever beats Frampton, no matter how many rematches. He just isn't as accurate. And many times he just started flailing away with basically nothing landing from his flurries. Frampton vs Russell or Rigo would be excellent fights. Vs Lep would be just a rerun IMO. Leo always has the same basic explanation for any and everything... "We'll win, we'll train hard, the fans, blah blah blah". Even he doesn't believe his generic hype machine. Great fighter, just one who has IMO hit a wall.

No rematch right away If Carl is to fight again this year he should seek to fight Selby or Warrington in Belfast Ireland
You can't have everything your own way is way I see it and I think Leo IF he wants it again should 100% be made to travel through to Britain for it he doesn't deserve another fight in his backyard.

Earlier parts when he fought in the pocket Frampton looked very good was only later on when he got tired his guard was going down and he was eating silly little shots If the rematch happens I hope they can do something to improve his cardio down the stretch because If he can fight strong in the last half of the fight that's where he could really put a hurting on someone like Leo.

... Leo, dear, Frampton doesn't give you the rematch...
... Leo, dear, you seek for redemption? Then go down and fight Rigo, you duck!

Unlike pinoy pendejo's I won't make slow motion videos. Mexican's take a loss.

                No ******:

In slow motion ... Leo knocked out the world.

7rds to 5 Frampton, I can see a draw too. But **** it.

Leo fought with two broken arms, legs, and tight socks!

Trust me.... No real Mexican would be that ****ing idiotic.

Frampton won. I hope for a rematch.

The better man won on that night... Period.
Were you being sarcastic about LSC being the better fighter than Frampton? Or was that part serious? Sorry - couldn't quite detect your tone there.

Frampton clearly showed he was the better boxer - his defense was making Cruz look silly at times.

Even the times when Cruz did land those long straight rights, and bounce Frampton's head, it didn't even phase him. Never came CLOSE to hurting, or even stunning Frampton...

Hahah did you see the STANKY LEG Frampton made the Mexican do? Hahah or would you say it was more of the BOOTY DEEEWWW!

                  Aye...

The fact that he's been making damn near seven figures for every fight for the past 3-4 years doesn't help either...

Dude has been getting paid - even when fighting gimmes - he's headlining making a minimum 500-750k. Some of that "lost billion dollars" Haymon managed to spend of the investors of PBC went into Santa Cruz's pockets.

                  He's definitely a millionaire already.

You are crazy, Santa Cruz hurts Carl many times too, and really both fighters only won, clearly, like 3 rounds, this fight was super close, but you need a new pair of eyes.

Look the ****in face of Santa Cruz, he is ****in clean.

The way you describe the fight, I could think you are narrating the Martinez vs Chavez Jr fight.

This fight was DRAW, no doubt about that.

Hey, idiot, the fight was in NY because there is a lot of people of Ireland in that place. That was a neutral place.

The backyard of Leo is California, he never fought in NY. So shut up, and the judges were in the side of Frampton, 117 and 116 HAHAHAHAHA
