His grinding defeat of Robert Guerrero on Saturday made him a two-division world title claimant, and solidified his place on a welterweight landscape that's likely to mean big matches and big paychecks – by the..

BoxingScene.com: Is 147 the division your body can best handle, or will you get bigger?

I believe I will get bigger in the future. I’m 5-foot-9. I have a wide frame, so I’m pretty sure later on in my career that I'll be fighting at 154. I think that'd probably be it. It’s all about timing and opportunity.
He moved up because he was huge for 140. He also believes he's big at 147 and that someday he will have to move up to 154.

I think it is a much trickier fight for Garcia than most care to say. Garcia doesn't make any fight easy really and Berto will get hit a ton but he will also get his.

Berto is a lot physically bigger and stronger than Garcia and while Garcia is certainly a better boxer is almost every regard it is not like he is some defensive guy that won't allow Berto to land. Berto is generally willing to soak up a beating to try and land his big shot, and this being a great opportunity for him I don't think that changes this fight nor do I think Garcia really forces that change mid fight.

I would expect Garcia to win because he is going to land more but if Berto took his head off I wouldn't be shocked.

He can be like Kell Brook and only fight one guy that everybody recognizes.

I rather him fight better fighters sooner than later but his management is getting him lesser fighters for a bunch of money

Garcia hasn't fought a quality opponent in two years. Berto would be his toughest opponent ever and Berto would defeat and possibly KO Garcia. For that reason, Garcia will not fight Berto. Garcia's next fight is more likely to be against Victor Ortiz than Andre Berto.

Berta is a bigger faster fighter with pop. Curious to see how Garcia handles it. I like the fight

Because you said GGG doesn't have too many options. Maybe he should try a second division.
