It's cliched but it's true; all things being equal, the good big man will always defeat the good little man. Given that the slightly bigger Santa Cruz (32-0-1, 18 KOs) also has an edge over Frampton (22-0, 14 KOs) in power, quality of opposition and punch resistance, the outcome of this fight seems like a no-brainer.

Don't really think Frampton should be trying to emulate Winky in his performance tonight. Wright was great but it's not an ideal style for facing a taller, bigger, volume puncher. I think Frampton needs to use a lot of movement, especially early. Let LSC get frustrated and when he makes a mistake make him pay. Frampton has good footwork and fast feet, I don't think LSC can cut him off regularly without rushing in, leaving openings.

The Mister Bean mock up is pretty funny. He normally put on that face when he thought he was on to a winner though - and he was normally wrong/deluded. So you're the one who should have that look on YOUR face.

I don't see this as anything like the Bud/Postol fight. More like the Khanelo fight. Frampton makes Leo look clumsy but not as much as Canelo because Frampton is not quite as quick as Khan. Also LSC has better footwork than Canelo. Then Frampton gets wobbled at some point and can't keep LSC off , LSC gets the tko.

I have criticized Leo in the past for not stepping up the level of competition but he is there as of lately. That being said, I think his pressure will be too much for Frampton.

Frampton needs to eat a LOT of Lucky Charms cereal. Rub a four leaf Glover and bring a Leprechaun in the ring with him. As well as hope for rain and a rainbow while bringing a pot of gold to the ring...For ANY chance of winning.
