Canelo (or his trainer) said they would fight G at 155. G refused to consider a catchweight against Cotto or Canelo. G again made known he will only fight Canelo at 160. They agreed to wait until 2017 to give Canelo a chance to build his body up to 160. This according to Loeffler.

Go right on ahead making up lies to protect your precious idol. The fact remains if G wanted a big fight with Canelo they would have already fought at 155. Despite the years of begging for any big name to fight him from anywhere from 154-168, G finally gets the biggest draw, biggest payday possible right in front of him and he waits another year and a half for the biggest draw in boxing to build up to 160.

The reason G would do a catch weight is because he wants the biggest payday possible and it is there at a weight he had been saying for years he would fight at for a big name opponent. Well, now the biggest fight possible is right there, he says Why would I do that for? Just because he spent the last 3 years saying he wanted to? Heck no, that was before Ward offered a fight at 168 and Canelo at 155. Now he says he is mw champ and will only fight at 160.
Canelo is a punk for demanding all these bs cws. And G is a hypocrite punk for saying for years he would fight from 154-168 and then when asked about replies he is a mw so why would he fight at a cw? For millions of dollars? ha! Heck no. Fighting the biggest fight possible are only for those who care about money or legacy. He can fight a ww instead. Why not after all, as G says he is a mw champion so fighting a ww makes sense to me.

That's when they were after him, when he issued his famous "swerve him like the plague" quote. And I'm not talking Ward joke offer coming off his BET outing, this was HBO proposing it to both back in 2013, when Ward was much more relevant than last summer.

Fair enough, I see that now. But what is your argument seriously? That GGG has knocked out 22 brave fighters in a row, something Canelo was clearly afraid of doing? You can knock GGG as much as you want, the man has DOMINATED every single fighter put in front of him. Something, again, Canelo cannot state. And don't bother with the "Canelo is the biggest fighter in boxing now." If that's the case, then look at his last PPV numbers (460,000) and what his upcoming numbers with Liam Smith will be. Where are the million PPV numbers? GGG's numbers haven't been good because patos like Canelo, Quillin, Saunders rather coward their way out of a fight with him for fear of being a KTFO and replayed on ESPN's greatest knockouts. The day 1 of them dares to be his dance partner is the day he'll own Neilsen Ratings and PPV sales.

There is nobody in the sport today that has sold the Stub Hub Center, The Garden and now Wembley Stadium in 11 minutes from the time tickets went online than GGG. Worldwide hottest ticket in town fighting "bums". A phenomenon that by your clear hate, is doing so by only fighting bums. Such bums that Canelo can't muster the courage to at least attempt to be better than the other bums.

All fighters are hype until proven otherwise, Loeffler changes his story more than his underwear. People say the guy is p4p one of the best, why? Because he's beaten nobody. He's 34 years old, 35 fights in and has not ONE, ZERO, ZIP win vs an elite fighter. He has no career defining win. Unless Murray to you is career defining. I don't think Canelo went out of his way to make the fight happen, but Canelo in the absolute schooling he got from Floyd, still has faced top opposition. Ok, his fans excuses are that "no one will fight him". Lara apparently will. Or if not, move up....seek greatness. But, he doesn't want to because he has this massive dream of unifying the MW division instead....odd that the division he's trying to unify happens to be one of if not THE weakest division in boxing. Canelo always needs special advantages and G always fights easy sure-fire wins. Canelo just gave up the belt he never should have had in the first place. He tried to keep a mw belt and only fight at 155 and got rejected. Can't do that. That's why I don't like Canelo. G said anyone from 154-168 for years and then when he became Canelo's mandatory for a mw belt, he changed his tune and will only fight at 160. That's why I don't like G. Probably the two biggest divas in boxing right now. Canelo fighting Khan at 155 and some Smith guy or something. And G fighting Wade, which might be a step above a Rod Salka but maybe not too, and a ww at 160. What a great year for this duo. There is no way to defend either of these two.
