Comments Thread For: Ruslan Provodnikov Meets With Promoter, Return is Anticipated

On June 11th, Ruslan Provodnikov dropped a twelve round decision to John Molina in what was considered a pretty sizable upset. On this particular night at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York, his trademark relentlessness and passion were absent.

Probably should call it a day

His hunger was the only thing that made him competitive without that he isn't much

But f.uck if there's probably some good cheques left for him, Get him in with Rios

        For sure

A year or two ago would have ben ideal and it seems the fires dimmed in both fighters recently, match em up winner gets a nice win gets some momentum and the loser should probably call it a day

I'd still be stoked if they announced that fight though even with both their setbacks.

Not fun to watch anymore. He was a good fighter and I think beat Bradley but his style is too damage-prone.

He looks like a zombie now, moves like he's much older than he is.

Ruslan may get hurt. Needs to retire.

Sig me up. Sounds like a match up where it'd being out the best in both.

I don't understand how you can compare Brandon Rios to provodnikov. Rios has only lost to pacquiao and Bradley who are elite fighters and mike Alvarado in a razor close fight and came back and demolished him. If he gave one more fight like he did against Bradley then I could see the comparison but he just looked like he had a lot of hunger when he destroyed Alvarado, the Bradley fight could have been an off night who knows but I think his next fight we will see what he really has left.

Unfortunately I think the fans, the media, and Team Roach were blowing smoke up Ruslan's ass and he believed it.

Ruslan looked terrible against John Molina, this return is ill advised.

A double cash out effort of Ruslan vs Rios might be what TR has in mind.
