But because Golovkin has a contract with HBO, Loeffler has to be the one to send an offer because they're the ones who have ties with HBO. He repeats over and over again that Lara has no contractual obligations with any network for a reason, and he clearly says the fight can happen on HBO. But Loeffler has to be one to send an offer because his exclusive contract prevents Lara's team from sending an offer themselves.
Thanks for the explanation. Now can you put this in its proper context of a hungry challenger just itching to fight the champ

"Showtime definitely has the budget but can Golovkin fight on Showtime? I'm not sure what the budget is on HBO. Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make.

I swear all these boxers are getting so delusional. They think money falls from sky. Wants millions and explains how they sold out a 2.5k stadium. Decubas seems like an imbecile.

I didn't take anything out of context, he says the only offer they'd be willing to make is one they know Golovkin couldn't legally accept. There's zero reason for DeCubas to bring up Showtime when he knows that's not an option. He also never addresses why he didn't attempt to make contact with Loeffler, or atleast with Haymon to make contact with Loeffler.

And then to follow that up saying $1.3mill for Crawford vs Postol was low, when Lara only made $1mill for Alvarez, he's already looking to price himself out.

He played a part by pussing out. Knowing full well brook wanted the fight and are with the same promoter. In due time he will stretch canelo, lara, Saunders and eubank whenever they grow a set.

Lara is not some random young hungry "challenger" desperate enough to blow anyone in the room to get a title shot. Lara is a champion himself. He's a 33 year old man and has accomplished more than Golovkin. Pugilistically speaking, he would be fighting Golovkin at least on equal standing. He's in an excellent enough financial position not be a beggar. It's always been about the money, and Lara has been consistent in saying that. Just because you called out someone, it doesn't mean, you have take less than what you're worth. And there's been no specific number thrown out by Decubas so far that anyone can claim to be unreasonable. (Other than people pretending that Lara is asking for 4 million dollars). Lara should be no hungrier than Golovkin, a guy who actually should be desperate to fight anyone worth a damn. And if you remember correctly, the actual original context over everyone happy of the prospect of a GGG vs Lara when Lara first called him was that GGG himself was supposed be the hungry guy willing to fight anyone no matter what it took. Somehow along the way though, the narrative changed to GGG being a gift god and nobody is worthy enough to wipe his ass, let alone call him out.

That's the whole point of the conversation. You're being deliberately dense.

Hero Bando, please tell your friend to stop embarrassing himself. Reflects badly on all of you.

Selling out 2,500 isn't even a stadium. Its not even a bingo hall. Its a damn hotel. Not sure why they think lara even deserves a million much less a fight.

He acts like it. He talks **** and makes his little memes about every big name.

                    LOL. He's accomplished more? Seriously?
                    Lara's best win? Trout? Martirosyan?
He's a champion? That he won from some 20th ranked fighter who already had 6 losses?
Amateurs, Golovkin has a silver medal. Lara has.......
Lara has 2 losses and 2 draws, Golovkin has.....

Cool. Canelo paid him what he was worth, which was $1M on PPV, and Lara has done NOTHING since then to increase his standing. So he's worth $1M. Why the hell would anyone pay him more? Lara is acting exactly like Rigondeux. Brings nothing himself and somehow wants to get paid. The only reason he's even making decent money is because he's with Haymon.

And there's been no specific number thrown out by Decubas so far that anyone can claim to be unreasonable. Oh my, I think it's your narrative that has been changing. Lara started calling out Golovkin when he established his name, NOT when he was 'hungry guy willing to fight anyone'. You're thinking Ward circa 2013.
And here's a novel idea when you call someone out. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Tell YOUR manager to talk to the other guy. Fight a common opponent. Get a couple of fights and move up the rankings to challenge the person you're 'calling out'. Somehow in your narrative it's Golovkin is a 'gift god', while it was Golovkin's manager who contacted Lara, NOT the other way around. Lara has been and still is a diva.

I have absolutely no respect for Lara with his 'talk to my manager' bull****. His memes are funny as hell, but as a fighter, he's another Rigondeux - someone who opens his mouth and thinks he's the god's greatest gift to mankind.

What does pugilistically speaking mean? He's the much lesser draw and prohibitive underdog coming up in weight.

But what do you think Lara is worth? Let's establish a ducking threshold here
