GGG is too old to be farting around with the likes he's fighting.
If he were 24 instead of 34 it would make sense.

In taking the Brook fight, Golovkin is just staying active, making money, and building his base among some of the best fans in boxing. How fast did the fight sell out? Just a few minutes? Seems like a good move, given the lack of options in his division.

Jacobs isn't GGG's mandatory and he doesn't want to fight him. That's why it would be different if Jacobs was fighting Brook when he could have fought Golovkin, if he wanted to.
