He'd beat his ass, but would be more competitive than him vs Brook

That would be a fun fight. I think Degale just edged it against Porky.

I would favor GGG over anyone at 168, only guy I saw beating him was Ward in a clinch fest.

Skill for skill, Golovkin may be the better, but that doesn't count all that much (which is likely why K2 is so apprehensive about moving Golovkin even a pound away from 160) when you're talking about getting in their with a fringe title contender who will walk into the ring 6'1, likely 180lbs-185lbs in the ring and with a 3" reach advantage, just starting to come onto his man strength.

Not going to put any money down, but anyone who thinks that Golovkin stops even Medina inside 4 rounds is a fool.
golovkin stops medina within 4 rounds

Not sure about that. He won't be fighting a welter here. Love to see that fight next.

no you wouldnt though. Man what is it with people on here making out everyone who GGG doesnt fight is great, yet everyone he does fight is absolute useless. Medinas got 7 losses, been stopped by jack ramirez and campos within 6, if GGG fought him and beat him you would all shrug your shoulders and say 'oh well done you beat another B level fighter with 7 losses'

                  Boxrec is garbage

Although I don't care for the alphabet belts either, Medina is ranked by almost all of them in the 10-15. Isn't that the argument most GGG fans make when it comes to his resume (that he fought ranked top 10-15 contenders)?

I'm not a huge fan of Medina, but I loved what he did to DeGale. And, it would DEFINITELY be a much rougher fight than fighting welterweights, who aren't even the best in their own division.
