    Porky Medina vs GGG

Who do you think wins between Medina and GGG as GGG's debut at 168? I'm curious what you guys think. I had Medina winning vs DeGale, or at least being a draw.

GGG would KO Medina in a few rounds.
DeGale has been fighting very negative past few fights he wouldn't get away doing what he thinks he is doing so effectively against a better fighter.
I also agree I had Medina winning by 2 points.

Then let's see it. Fights are won in the ring.

I absolutely agree. FWIW I thought Porky deserved the nod against Degale too. Golovkin is clearly the more skilled but if Rogelio shows up with the workrate and aggression he brought to the Degale fight this has the makings of a really exciting matchup.

Rogelio "Porky" Medina, say what you want about the man's skills, is a massive mother****er for super middleweight and can take a good shot (while also only being 27 years old, hinting at the frame continuing to fill in).

Skill for skill, Golovkin may be the better, but that doesn't count all that much (which is likely why K2 is so apprehensive about moving Golovkin even a pound away from 160) when you're talking about getting in their with a fringe title contender who will walk into the ring 6'1, likely 180lbs-185lbs in the ring and with a 3" reach advantage, just starting to come onto his man strength.

Not going to put any money down, but anyone who thinks that Golovkin stops even Medina inside 4 rounds is a fool.

I wouldn't have an issue with it as a first fight at 168. Better than fighting a welterweight anyway.

GGG looks the bigger man in the picture. Higher shoulders, thicker forearms..... Wonder what GGG weighs in this pic.

GGG wins the fight. However I was very impressed with Porkys ability to cut off the ring vs DeGeale.

Does anyone know who promotes Medina? Is he a Haymon fighter?
