Ward is on record for saying that he's never coming back down to 168 for GGG...but he might be lying about that too. And who's to say that fighters at 168 won't duck him too? You do realize that GGG's goal is to become undisputed, right? If he moves up now, he gives up on that goal & starts from square one at 168. His time is now. If he becomes undisputed at 160, that frees up his options. This also means that GGG doesn't mind fighting a 168 fighter in the mean time. Zurdo is the most likely candidate if his hand injury heals in time. But if DeGale doesn't get the Jack fight, he could very well be looking to get the GGG fight in December. Don't count that out yet. And even then, that won't mean that GGG will be officially campaigning at 168. They won't do that until he's undisputed. But when you're a hater, of course you're going to encourage abandoning that goal. Am I wrong?Comment

Lara ain't nothing but a name-dropper. If he truly was committed to making that fight, maybe he should tell his team that, no? No fighter in boxing history is ever going to get a fight just by calling that person out. You have to negotiate. Only casual fans who are haters will constantly bring up debunk arguments like you. A true boxing fan is going to keep it to the boxing. GGG's team had to settle for a mismatch against Brook because they had run out of viable options. If you can name 1 viable option to fight GGG in September in London, I'd like to hear it. Until then, shut the f#ck up with your hating agenda.Comment

You need to get your facts straight buddy. Only Eubank is at 160 and competitive??? Umm you do realize that Saunders is 160 too, and he has beaten Eubank before right?
Degale is in the midst of unification negotiations with B.Jack for the fall. So Hearn should have terminated the unification negotiations with B. Jack's team, just so GGG can have one off 168lb fight with him?? Ludicrous and ridiculous notion.
So you still haven't answered the question-- which top fighter at 160/168 lb competitive fighter available for GGG to fight in Sept?
Just checked Medina's ranking. He's ranked top 10 to 15 by most organizations. But, it's not a business fight, it's a real fight (REAL DRAMA SHOW!).
I've Medina winning that fight.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 07-27-2016, 01:59 AM.Comment

I know you are not talking to me, but I'd take Porky Medina (the guy who mauled DeGale) for now. It's a great way to test the waters at 168.

I find it funny that Lil G fans think Lara should be making offers to Lil G. The A-side makes offers in boxing, it's the A-sides show. Is Lara the A-side in a Golovkin fight you dumb ****s? Did Willie Monroe make an offer to Lil G? Just another lame excuse for the ducking of Lara.Comment
