Also, why is all the responsibility on making the fights we want to see on Golovkins opposition? Shouldn't K2 be pursuing the competitive fights and not just money fights? Who has Trip called out that wasn't a pure money fight or a known competitive mismatch? I just want to see him in the ring with someone 160 or heavier who can fight. Not WW and JMW guys.
G. Ramirez is not fighting til the fall, Arum and Loeffler both stated that this fight will happen next year. Hearn, Degale's promoter, never even offered the fight to Degale due to his ongoing unification negotiations with Badou Jack. Virtually all top 154/ 168 lbers are with PBC/ Showtime and will not appear on HBO.
So explain which high profile GGG should fight on short notice, when Eubank chickened out last min, in Sept??

Secondly, what are you talking about, GGG has actively chased 2 lineal middleweight champs, who else is he supposed to chase? Plus, if a challenger wants a belt, they have to chase the champion and labeling Lara a challenger at middleweight is me being generous.
let's just be honest, Lara has lost every major fight in his career, almost got killed by a shot Angulo and refused to put his foot on the gas in the latter rounds against Canelo and then *****ed about losing that fight. GGG would quite literally end his career.
Leave Lara out of it...I didn't mention him. There are multiple 160 and 168 pound guys that K2 can contact about a fight. And no...the champ doesn't just get to sit back and wait....he has to defend his belt and demonstrate he is the champ.

DiBella would like to see @GGGBoxing fight a true welterweight or a heavier opponent. When I asked about Jacobs or Lara, told "TV problems."

Edit: The reply was to someone saying Lara doesn't call Golovkin out when he's free. I pointed out it was a lie. No trolling there just factual information.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 07-26-2016, 11:59 AM.

Canelo claimed he would fight him, then fought a welterweight and then moved back to light middle. Go figure that out yourself.
And GGG has been quite active with his various middleweight belts. He has beaten the most relevant middleweights willing to fight him. That eventually left BJS, the only other legitimate belt holder. BJS has had schizophrenia regarding GGG, one second he claims he will fight him, the next he says he won't...until 18 months down the line.
That all mess then left the next best available contender who was willing to fight GGG, a certain Eubank. He or his father then managed to **** it up. He could have fought a fringe contender or a journeyman at middleweight but I prefer Brook. Top middleweight v top welter is a battle as old as the sport itself. Is it a great fight? No. But it was one born of necessity. You can't twist this into GGGs fault, it just isn't.
Could he have fought at 168? Sure but not against anyone recognisable, as DeGale/Jack are busy with each other (supposedly there was contact made with DeGales team), Groves is rebuilding and...there really isn't anyone else worthy of note. You have to stretch pretty far to make this sound like it's GGGs fault.
Plus it's all irrelevant to this thread, which is about Lara being a *****.

In your opinion, why shouldn't he? This fight is free of promotional and network problems, and would b very easy to make since they have the same advisor in Haymon.
If Lara won this fight, he would be the mandatory to GGGs WBA title- ensuring that would have to happen. Not to mention it would give Lara experience fighting a middleweight

95% of the hate for Golovkin comes from that this guy and abel say to the public. I wish Tom was as active in making fights as he is with flapping his gums. At the expense of his fighter he's playing Mr. Nice Guy when he should've dropped that shhh and called out Oscar on the Canelo situation instead he went to go kiss Hearn's @ss. Golovkin is a magnificent fighter but his handlers have started turning me off as a fan and that is not exactly a good thing considering the shh i've taken on this site in defense of the boxer himself.
