Except maybe Lara, Charlo brothers, Andrade, Trout, But let's be honest. None of them have a better resume than GGG, and none of them are better fights than Eubank, Saunders, Canelo, or Jacobs. And GGG was already set to fight Eubank. All I'm saying is, just wait another year. I'm pretty sure GGG will start getting the bigger fights next year, when he's more popular and can offer more money to fight him. For example, after Brook, he can offer more money to Eubank. After Eubank, he should be very popular by that time and can offer more to Saunders. And after that, Canelo and GBP should be ready.

What contract? There is no signed contract for a Kovalev vs Ward fight. It can't be as long as one of the guys still has to fight a bloke; he might die in the process, who knows ?...

That's the point I'm making. Ward has some kind of contract with HBO, but a contract for a fight between Ward and Kovalev CANNOT be finalised and signed till after Ward has fought Brand.
