Agreed 100%. It's like saying Hearn is the promoter and they're just fighting who he put in front of them.

All reports were still that DeGale was going to fight Jack in a unification fight. It wasn't til last week that rumors started coming out that DeGale was pricing himself out of that fight.
No one would've criticized this fight if GGG didn't already make the statements about Brook being too small, and also criticizing Canelo for dragging Khan up to 155!

It's like they're saying that it didn't occur to anyone to ask "how about DeGale" before signing to fight Brook.

People would've crucified Golovkin for fighting Brook no matter what. It is what it is - a stay busy fight/money grab. Golovkin's making a career high payday for this fight and it's going to open doors for more fights in the UK.

If Brook/Golovkin leads to DeGale/Golovkin then I'm all good. DeGale is on top of my wishlist to fight Golovkin.

Say that now but they made no attempt to make a DeGale fight. They wanted to fight the WW.

Brook walked away from the Vargas fight to sign so who is to say that Degale couldn't do the same. It would have been nip tuck just like with Brook. We want to see Golovkin chase big fish not little fish.

It probably wasn't Loeffler just talking randomly about what they could have done. The reporter probably asked, why not DeGale at 168. The thing with these articles is that every fighter looks like they are talking randomly, because the questions the reporter asked aren't shown like it is in f-hype interviews. So it looks like people just call up boxingscene to talk trash, and then you have posters coming in to ask "why would he say that"...well it's an interview, he was most likely asked that question

Exactly. Hypocrisy and Contradiction. Can't have it both ways.

Not trying to hear Golovkin can't find opponents when Lara and Andre Dirrell have been saying they'd fight Golovkin and now Team Golovkin say they are willing to face DeGale. No credit for facing a Welterweight.
