Oscar also won his first world title at 21. Ward turned pro at 20. Pernell turned pro at 20. Canelo fought Mayweather when he was 22 and won his first world title at 21. Tyson was 20 when he won his first world title. Special fighters do special things. Think about who was at 126/130/168 when Lomachenko was 21 and GGG was 21. A lot of great fights could've been made.Last edited by Motorcity Cobra; 07-24-2016, 02:38 PM.Comment

If GGG and Loeffler do what they say they are interested in doing, which to sign Eastern European and Central Asian fighters, then I'm sure we'll start getting more fighters from those regions turning pro earlier.
Before the 90s they couldn't go pro and post 90s there wasn't many, if any, opportunities for them until recently. Guys like Klitschko, GGG, Loma, Kovalev are the ones changing the game for these fighters. Now there are more opportunities for them.
There wasn't many offers for Loma after the 08 Olympics. That's one of the reasons he didn't go pro after the 08 Olympics.
You're ignorant.
You dislike Loma, so shouldn't you be happy that he didn't turn pro earlier? That way you don't have to see him that much.
You are probably one of those people that hate European (specifically Eastern) and Asian fighters. Well, there will be a lot of bad news for you in the future.
You will also get your wish of Eastern European and Central Asian fighters turning pro at an earlier age now that there is more opportunities. Especially if GGG and Loeffler start signing. And I bet you'll still find something to complain about.Comment

There are no opportunities for foreign fighters like there is for American fighters. What do you want these guys to do? A lot of the times the only way they could make a living is by fighting for their country. Do you think promoters are lining up to sign these guys? It's starting to change a bit for sure.

You ignorant racist ****.Comment

But unlike Nicaragua, Philippines, and Mexico, Eastern Europeans get financial help from their government or business men to fight in the amateurs. So of course they will take those opportunities, especially if there are no pro opportunities. Get financial help to fight amateur and potentially represent your country at an Olympic Games or World Championships.
You ignorant racist ****.Yea, I'm the racist that picked the Eastern European over Crawford
Stop playing the race card. That's weak bro

You may not be a racist, but you're ignorant.
Sorry, that these fighters aren't Americans and can't have hundreds of opportunities.Comment

Because once you play the race card everything else you said goes out the window. I was about to respond to the other things you said until I read that last part. There's no point in having a logical discussion with you because throwing out the race card over a disagreement means you're an illogical person. Race was never in the discussion. The examples I used were from different ethnic backgrounds. I just don't feel the need to discuss anything with people who only see things thru race. I'm not about to be dragged into a conversation about raceComment
