Of all the fighters who got the big Floyd payday I think Maidana was the least likely, dude went on a hArd grind ever since he got the Ortiz fight.
Maidana is further proof you don't need need to protect your record to get big fights and big paydays.

chino is clearly done. even if he does return i bet he'll never be able to compete at the highest level again. he'll just be a stepping stone. just look at his face, he has that worn old look now. that look that he's been thru it and now his body is starting to show the signs of it.Comment

Hmm, he got a decent career, had his big paydays and now can enjoy retirement. Sad to see sometimes former boxers being really fatties later on, but hey, if they are done with the sports, let them enjoy retirement how they wish
He got a lot of money and can live off very well without ever needing more work again, unless he completely ****s up his finances. I doubt it happens, but then again, it does seem to happen with many boxers. Its bit depressing to be honest.
