Didn't he fight GRJ one time? Mild mannered guys tend to have a mean streak man.
It's hard to believe that Crawford was...

The streets is where they get the black slickness from. Not surprised at all to learn he had a hood life.
Yall know if he was ever locked up or in a street gang?
Some fighters have learned the sacred 52 Blocks gang style that is only taught to ****ers and convicts.
Ive heard that Hopkins knows this and never had to use it and Mayweather Sr. learned it while doing hard time but only passed it on to his son and nobody else. Tyson actually used 52 Blocks on Holyfeld only after getting headbutted repeatedly, unfortunately the move he used was banned in boxing so he was disqualified.
52 blocks is deadly which is why they dont want boxers using it in the ring.Last edited by elfag; 07-24-2016, 04:11 PM.Comment

lol how was he a street dude, he got robbed and jacked lmfao. (playing dice doesnt make you a street dude everybody plays and gamble on dice)In them streets as a youngster coming up. So much to the point that he got shot (in the head according to the recent countdown show of the Postol fight) and was hospitalised. Him surviving that incident is said to have turned his whole life around.
In truth though when you see his whole quiet demeanour and his reluctance to be brash and opinionated like so many greats before him, it's very hard to imagine he was a street dude.
What I find intriguing about him though is he's probably one of the calmest looking fighters I've ever seen. Like Rigo his expression never changes. And I wonder if that is because he's already looked death in the face? That calmness is hard to find in this fight game. Hell I've seen Floyd look a little nervous a ton of times but never Terence and it will be interesting to see if that remains the case the higher the level he goes.
Getting shot doesnt make you bout a damn thing lol.Comment

This is boxing not the streets. Street guys have been in boxing since the 1900s they are nothing new.
Hank Lundy is said to have ties to the streets and he can't stop running his mouth .
Another quiet dude who was heavy in the streets was Anthony Joshua!!..dude was facing life in prison at one point.

Will there ever be another Joe Louis, humble wise?Eh, I thought the same until I heard about that idiot taking a crew of guys to repo his car from the bodyshop and they fked up the hydraulic lift. Half-ass thug bullshyt. Some of his statements following that were disappointing as well.
He's still one of my favorites and I have believed in his ability since the first time I saw him. But, he's not entirely humble or mannered.
I'm a Duran fan, but of course, he worked his savage image, although I don't think he was ever really a thug.
The thug thing isn't becoming. Be somebody. Be a respectful guy that can be admired. Not for the media or the press. Just because you made some money and are successful. Leave the loser crap behind, IMO.Comment
