Roach is an overrated basic trainer who teaches good basics but little else, doesn't teach his fighters to fight on the inside, cut off the ring, and worst of all, doesn't teach them how to adjust when they get hurt. His fighters keep getting hurt and he doesn't tell them how to adjust.

How the guy got voted Trainer of the year 7 times is just beyond me.

Does Roach even do anything other than be the figure head coach and show up on fight night? He's a celebrity trainer at this point, I think his Filipino love boy (Marvin) does all the heavy lifting and Roach just shows up.

roach its time to give it up, your fighters keep losing, youve dragged pacquiao back from the dead cause hes the only one who doesnt always let you down, although he stunk out the place against mayweather

Freddie Roach: Manny pls avenge the lose of Postol like you did to Ruslan against Algieri.
            Manny: Ok ,no problem!
Arum: No way ,Vargas first then Bradley 4, then Vargas 2, then PBC fighters then Manny (at age of 40+) vs Crawford(My New Cash Cow).

Roach's claim to fame is happening to own the first gym Manny Pacquiao saw when he come to America. A lotta newer fight fans don't know that Manny was already a world champion when Roach got him.

Freddy's trash talk doesn't change his abilities as a trainer. Bomac had a good pupil win last night, Roach has had buku fighters and title wins with a disability at that. Freddy just talks more nowadays but certainly less physically capable.

                  Postol won this 115-111.

Go watch it again. The crowd influenced things, cheering for shorts that never even connected. Apart from the flash knockdowns, Crawford was missing almost everything and being countered.

I don't think Roach is a great trainer but his game plan was good and he did a good job on Crawford. Shame the judges and arum are crooks.

If I was some boxing trainer, I'd be scared to be on a level of the worst trainer in the game today

By the way, Freddie Roach was betting both of his homes on Cotto vs. Canelo, he lost that bet. Then he was betting his last 1000$ on Postol, he lost that bet again. The question is, where's he living now, in Cotto's basement?

Just look at his predictions and be convinced that the opposite thing gonna happen. Now I'm scared GGG gonna lose that Kell Brook fight, since Freddie said Kell doesn't have a chance against Golovkin
