Dude was stumbling and fumbling all over the ring any time Bud landed a decent counter shot. There were a few moments against Matthysse where his legs looked a bit shaky but I think he clinched frequently enough where it wasn't that big of an issue. Tonight, he was off balance so much it seemed like he was drunk.
What's up with Postols balance?

It's because Crawford was extremely fast and explosive, and hit him from angles he didn't expect.Comment

he tired to clinch crawford.....he tried. i have no problems with his clinch. but bud just simply refused to have postol hanging on him and literally went crazy with punches when ever postol clinched. u could tell crawford was really focused on postols clinch. he wasn't having any of postols clinch.Comment

He is very tall, skinny and has a very wide stance. Easy to get him off balance. Plus tonight I don't think he ever really recovered from those knockdowns in the 5th.. He seemed to never have footwork after that momentComment

Yeah man he fought brilliantly. He made Postol be the aggressor, meaning he forced him to come forward which totally eliminated his height and reach advantage. What was interesting to me was that Postol had literally no answers for that at all, him and Roach made no adjustments whatsoever even after it became apparent what was going on. You gotta be disappointed in Postol and the great Freddie Roach for not having a better game plan. Crawford was clowning him at times sticking his tongue out etc and Postol couldn't do a damn thing about it lolhe tired to clinch crawford.....he tried. i have no problems with his clinch. but bud just simply refused to have postol hanging on him and literally went crazy with punches when ever postol clinched. u could tell crawford was really focused on postols clinch. he wasn't having any of postols clinch.Comment

The exact same thing I though, Crawford turned Postol's clinching from a defensive tactic to stop Crawford offense and to get rest to a very painfully rough experience, it was funny that towards the end of the fight they tangled up and surprisingly enough Postol didn't even try to hold, he just put his hands up and waited for the ref to break them up. He didn't have the time nor he was ready to deal with Crawford's rough house tactics on the inside, that to me was one of the primary reasons why Crawford won since clinching is one of Postol's most important strategieshe tired to clinch crawford.....he tried. i have no problems with his clinch. but bud just simply refused to have postol hanging on him and literally went crazy with punches when ever postol clinched. u could tell crawford was really focused on postols clinch. he wasn't having any of postols clinch.Comment
