You're asking a boxer to give up his goal. That is something I do not endorse. To all the dumb asses who keep saying weight won't play a factor need to be smacked in the back of the fuucking head. First of all if this fight was at 147 (Brooks weight class) the odds would go up drastically for Brook and people would not know who to pick because you still have a bigger fighter fighting a smaller fighter, but dropping the weight would even things out.
But you have a bigger fighter who is supposed to be the best in that division bring up a guy 2 divisions is terrible. All I'm saying if weight wasn't an issue in boxing and Brook and lil are supposed to be the same size they both should make 147 no problem. Clearly they are not the same size and one fighter is naturally bigger. I wouldn't give Brook a shot at any top 154 pound fighter as well as 160 fighter.
There are weight classes for a reason and pussie g is scared to move up one through out his career.Comment

Vegas already has the fight at -700Totally agree with this. Very surprised that anyone is giving Brook any chance to win. As somebody posted online previously (I forget where), even if Brook & GGG were in the same weight division GGG would still be a huge favourite.
Currently the odds are 1/6 for GGG and 6/1 for Brook (-600 GGG and +600 Brook for my US friends :-). I'll be putting my money where my mouth is come fight time and putting a decent wedge down on GGG. Never seen a better 1/6 bet, no way Brook is winning this fight.
I should qualify that with I have massive respect for Brook in taking the fight when the true MWs appear scared

You do realize that they had to settle for Kell Brook right? This isn't like Canelo "choosing" to fight Amir Khan as a voluntary title defense. Canelo's team jerked GGG's team around for weeks until they announced a fight with Liam Smith. The Eubanks did the same thing. Nobody wanted to fight GGG in September. With all the viable options running out, they were lucky to get Brook. Loeffler is even quoted at the press conference that it was unfortunate they were unable to get the DeGale fight. Which means they even went after the top 168 guy & was turned down. You're nothing but a hater who won't take into account the situation. Everyone ducked GGG for a September fight. HBO set a hard date of September 10. If you can't even admit that all the viable fighters for this date wasn't willing to fight him, then you're a lost cause.Comment

What makes this assumption hilarious is that neither Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, or Shawn Porter called out Kell Brook. Brook has been a top-10 WW longer than any of those guys. But when pressed to name their next opponent, not a single one would say Brook's name. If neither of you are willing to admit that GGG was ducked to the point that there was no viable options until Brook signed, then you're both a lost cause. The bout being a mismatch doesn't dispel the fact that the 5-6 boxers ahead of Brook in GGG's pecking order all turned him down.Comment

Top 10 welterweight longer than all those guys with only 1 legit win. I'm sorry bro but you need to relax. Idc if none of them called him out, they all have a great shot at beating him if they fight. That's my point. And a welterweight vs GGG is a fight I can't see the welterweight winning. Now for Golovkin, yeah, he's getting ducked at 160. Nelo ducked him and Jacobs ain't in no rush to fight. Nobody cares though cuz GGG acted funny when it came to ward. What makes this assumption hilarious is that neither Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, or Shawn Porter called out Kell Brook.
