The guy has to look down on you for Pete's sake! The whole weigh on psychology doesn't work with everyone bud. I can't see that Postol jab not finding its way either stance Bud fights.

I wouldn't take that as a sign of intimidation. When I fought as an amateur, I never looked in my opponents eyes, I just looked at his chin. I don't care about the look in your eyes, the chin is my target.

This is the same guy that repo'd his own car from the body shop and broke the lift in the process. I think Crawford is part of the future of boxing, but at this point I don't expect him to say anything particularly clever.

why will postol mix it up with someone shorter in height and reach?
While some judges do prefer the clean effective punching criteria, others however do not. They prefer the fighter who is giving the impression, that wants to win the fight the most, by constantly moving forward with effective aggressiveness and harder punching.
Constant moving and fighting off the back foot in my judgement is too risky of strategy for Postol and it could end up costing him a very close fight on the official Las Vegas judges scorecards if he is not careful.

My interpretation would be Crawford wanted the eye contact because he has that mean streak and that's his demeanor. Postol is cool, calculating and professional so he's not trying to get into that and he's not trying to give Crawford what he wants.

Bud is going to go after him and punish him. This should be a great fight, just hope Postol doesn't get stopped after a few rounds.
