This guy made a showcase of said drama and it is absolutely awesome. We shall never again see things like Larry Holmes doing a dropkick off a car.
Boxing was at it best when it had drama.

those are just face offs that went nowhere. Nothing in the same park as what went on back then. Staged and fake, especially Fury and Wilder. Had Eubanks teed off and KO'd O'Sullivan right then, instead of acting calm like his dad, I'd count it.
Mayorga basically put De La Hoya's likely gayness on full display while Tyson threatened **** and Barrera legit socked Morales. Never again shall you see.
And as gun happy 'Murica is now, they don't even care about boxing enough for a live shooting. Thankfully.Last edited by Combat Talk Radio; 07-23-2016, 01:34 AM.Comment

Boxing doesn't have drama now?
You must not be up with the times homito.
Cats like:
Fury
Wilder
GGG
Kovalev
Gonzalez
Keep this sport wildly entertaining inside, and outside the ring. Especially Fury and Wilder.Comment

You're talking about the fans and social media right? If so I agree, it's disgusting seeing how disrespectful fans are towards fighters and even worse endorsing ducking and worrying about PPV buys, ratings and financial crap.
As for actual boxers talking **** on social media to other boxers, that stuff is entertaining, especial when they actually fight each other. That's what's ruining the sport though - not enough good fighters fighting each other! Everyone wants $4-$5m without putting in the work. Shoot, the WWE at least makes good matches consistently. Hopefully things change soon.Comment

Exactly what I'm talking about. Fans are horrible, but it's a by product of the orgs and promoters. I just wish people were smarter than everything they read. Nowadays everyone has an opinion. Difference is there are to many sheep buying in to one person's opinion rather than actually following the sport. You're talking about the fans and social media right?
