    "make 155"
    "i can't. i haven't been under 158.5 in my 10 year pro career, and i was a 165 MW in the amateurs."
    "you ducked me"

does that really make sense to you? you really blame golovkin for that? "that's that?" are you f#Cing kidding me?

that's the most blatant duck in boxing! and you've got ot be crazy to blame golovkin for the figh tnot happenign.

do you remember when you blakc power morons called pacuqoap the catchweight king, and then stopped that rhetoric the second floyd dragged canelo down to 152, wher ehe was a dead man?

now you're the catchweight kings yourslelves . just be fair, man. just give it a try! it's liberating!
I don't blame him for anything. Your rant is humorous though.

Anyway, so he "can't" make 155. Ok fine. He can stay at 160 and beat on the kind of opponents he's beating. His career shouldn't depend on Canelo and vice versa. If it's a challenge he seeks, he'll have to make some sacrifices. If it's big money, same thing.

Dude I'm talking about the #1 slot. Not #2 3 4 etc. Also I don't consider chocolito #1 . chocolito wasn't even in the running for #1 until he started fighting on hbo. I think. As for ward , he beat a fghter on the list though and He beat froch who was on the list after ward fought him. Klit and Crawford have never been #1 . the previous #1 were FMJ Manny Pac RJJ and all of them had to fight and beat P4P figjters considered to be one of the top ten fighters in the world. IMO you can't be considered the best fighter in the world based on your potential. You have to beat the best and prove it.

Ok so if Choco is not #1, who is? It's pretty silly that you can be #2,3 in your book without a p4p win, but not 1.

Getting paid at the expense of your health is shortsighted. This shiet will cease when one of these mofo's is carted off on a stretcher dead...

Triple Duck could make 154 for Floyd.

i seriously doubt it at this point, but if you want to have a fighter rolled in on a wheelchair for a payday that's your prerogative.

how could one possibly call the most avoided fighter in boxing "triple duck" with a staright face? yes, i don't think that golovkin's people wanted the ward fight, but looking at the rhetoric from ward and his team, the timing of the offers made, i don't think they wanted it much, either. just look at ward crapping on golovkin. do you discredit fight you want, or do you try and build it?

this seems to be a thing that hangs up a lot of bsceners:
just because you might have "ducked" ward, doesn't mean you're not the most ducked fighter in boxing. furthermore, that people ignore all of the times middleweights avoided golovkin, particularly canelo alvarez, while finding ways to blame golovkin, is a sign of clear bias.

              is golovkin perfect?
              no!
is his team moving him to prove he's a badass, or for the money?
              for the money!

that doesn't excuse what martinez, cotto, and canelo have done, which is avoid the most deserving, and even their "mandatory" challenger, the best middleweight in the world, gennady golovkin.

canelo creates a new weight class to avoid the guy, and then drops the most significant lineal title in the world other than WW and HW, and the title you can trace all the way back to one of hte all time greats, bernard hopkins? and you call golovkin the duck? something is wrong here!

canelo - golovkin is the biggest fight in boxing. it could break a million ppv.

it sounds like you're implying that these "challenges" are at 168 or 175 lbs, where you can kiss the alvarez fight goodbye.

golovkin, for the record, has beaten 6 top 10 middleweights, which is more than any other active fighter in the last 3-4 years. but somehow these aren't challenges? again, implying, by the sound of it, that you think he's not challenged by contenders at 160, adn that he shold move to 168, and kiss the biggest fight in boxing goodbye.

you guys would move golovkin like a featherweight, and coddle and develop floyd like a heavyweight. and you woudln't get what you were doing

The article makes a good point. Dollars make sense and it seems like all the P4P fighters, Rigo, GGG, Canelo are cashing in on pounding Brits heads flat now. Where's this money coming from across the pond?

how many different ways can we say the same thing...to be a star or great you have to take risks, not make excuses.

everyone from 154-168 with a pulse is not ducking this guy and if people believe that, they need to lay off the pipe.
