One thing Kell Brook has going for him ... he wants to fight Golovkin now, not sometime next year, like Ward and Canelo. You have to give him respect for that.

Definitely. You have to give him a lot of respect for taking the fight Canelo didn't want, the fight Saunders didn't want, the fight Jacobs didnt want, the fight Eubank didn't want...

All things considered, Brook may very well be the best available...and willing...competition for this fight.

Some people say GGG is overated and then rate him highly in the same sentence depending on their agenda.

Brook is rpthe best ww or one of them and that division is stronger. And brook is drained at that weight.
So stop making excuses. Its a good test for GGG and brook. May the best man win.

I agree with him, the fight is bull**** but he needs to at least be consistent if he's going to be taken seriously, I don't like when these guys flip flop their opinions depending on who they're talking about. Garcia is the same guy who said Amir Khan stands a good chance against Canelo and its a fight he wanted to see.

brook is wearing layers in that suit and still looks two 2 inches shorter and 15lbs lighter than ggg. Shameful mismatch

Agreed - it is just business. In general these 'mis-matches' are happening and an "issue" because the belt orgs can't agree on who are the top 10 fighters in each div. So best fights in each div don't get made. Another issue is the way fighters are scared to take a loss. Take 2 losses in a row and your career is wrecked. You might still be perceived as dangerous but now you have no value so you are avoided.

Specifically, this issue is caused by the cowardice of other fighters at MW - Jacobs, Saunders principally. Also Brook can't get champs in the ring as not enough money in it.

Finally - Garcia says " I understand this. This is business" - That say it all. You go where the money is. Course if Golovkin looks vulnerable against Kell then you will see Eubank and Saunders more amenable to fight.

Read through his unbeaten 49-0 and name by name understand what a ****** statement you've just made.
