If you do what Roach says, your offense is your defense

Roach doesn't give much advice mid fight. Often looks lost when his fighter is being out boxed and maneuvered

the offense as your defense approach isnt always effective in the ring.

He hasnt won a lot of big fights the last few years because his fighters dont adjust, they fight their fight, nothing wrong with that but at the top level its about adjustments

I've seen Crawford change his style mid fight and adapt,.....Postol basically does what he does.

The longer the fight goes, the more it favors Crawford. Not sure Postol will be able to smother Crawford or deal with his power. Matthysse was/is shot and was way too short to overcome Postol. I expect to see Crawford work the body early then head hunt late.

naw...Matthyssee was always overrated....it happens...when a past prime Judah outpoints you, its obvious you can be outboxed

He was outboxed by Garcia and now Postol....people fall in love with punchers and forget about the styles, and skill sets

Crawford seems to be more versatile, more punch variation, can fight inside and out...more speed and power to his shots

Outside of a one punch ko...I dont see how Postol can win this fight...Crawford can box you or go for the kill.,,Postol has no inside game either besides timely clinching when you get past his jab and right hand....Crawford can switch to southpaw and conventional and fights well off the pivot and angles...by round 6-7 Postol will be a bloody mess and stopped by round 10

Roach gets a lot of **** on NSB (mainly because of the Mayweather/Pac saga) but the guy is an excellent trainer. Not surprised to hear Postol have so many good things to say.

Pretty sure what Roach is saying is mostly talk, though. I'd think Postol will want to make use of his size and make Crawford close the distance.

postol is too basic for someone like crawford, a guy who can switch hit in the pro game.

crawford if his chin can handle postol's power will out work, out athleticism postol.

Roach is literally the most overrated trainer of all time....90 % of his fighters were world class or champions when he got them

his fighters always have defensive liabilities unless they already have great defense like James Toney

                    Postol is getting stopped late
People always talk about Roach only has a plan a. Can you show me an instance where plan a didn't work for a certain fighter so his trainer told him to go to plan b. Can you show me this?
