GGG doesn't dictate terms to anyone. He doesn't bring the money to make it worth it. K2 can't afford to pay opponents top dollar because GGG is not a star and his PPV numbers were an embarrassment, which is why HBO took him off PPV. Khan: KO'd twice previously and dropped numerous times, moved up 8 pounds, was outweighed 20 pounds on fight night.

Brook: Never lost, never been dropped, current champ, moving up 13 pounds, will be 1-5 lbs less than his opponent on fight night.

Why believe anything Canelo says after all the garbage he spewed after the Khan fight?

The few fighters (Saunders, Eubanks, Canelo) in the MW division that could conceivably offer Golovkin a competitive matchup are not ready to fight him in September. They SHOULD be ready, but they aren't.

I like fighters who fight often, who stay active. Brook is an undefeated guy, huge home audience, eager for the challenge, able to show up and fight in September. Good choice for Golovkin.
