Manny is in a completely different stratosphere as far as accomplishments and talent goes .. Mannys conquest of the featherweight division in itself is more of an accomplishment than Crawford's had his entire career thus far .. Even at the age of 37 Manny would make Terrence look like a sparring partner.

Don't really think that's the smartest mindset if you're Team Crawford. The payday is one thing. But the exposure is another. It is by far the biggest stage available to him. And thinking long-term. When Floyd comes back. What better opponent opinion would it be than the guy who beat Pacquiao, if TC wins. If he doesn't take that opportunity. His next best payday would be moving up and fighting Canelo or GGG. We all know they like em little.

How do you blame the fans? They don't make the fights. When Pacquiao fought Rios, "Bam Bam" was rather feared and had only lost one fight to Alvarado. Algieri was undefeated & Pac wanted revenge for his then-stable mate, Provodnikov. While neither could hang with Pac, at least the fights were fun to watch.

Just wow. Count you among the 300-400k fans that would buy any fight with Pac's name on the headliner. I blame the fans because if they continue to pay, the fights will continue to be made. No BamBam was not feared by any fighter. Pac was never friends nor was there a single report of Pac wanting revenge for Provodnikov. As a matter of fact, had Provodnikov won that fight as many expected, he would have dropped Roach in order to fight Pac. To top it off, no one asked for or wanted to see Pac vs BamBam or Algeiri, those were fights put together By Arum knowing Pac has a built in audience that would buy anything, even though it was clear to all that these fighters were chosen to specifically make Pac look good, as both opponents clearly had no chance of winning. So yes it is the fans that should be blamed. As we recently saw with Canelo and GBP, and Loefler with GGG, if fans don't purchase then they either step up the opponent or move back to cable.

Crawford's manager is deeply in fear that Crawford's career will or might be derailed if he faces Pacquiao. Too early to gamble, not really tested yet. Crawford needs to mature. They are banking on media reports that Crawford is the best there is, but experience will prevail in the case of Pacquiao. Crawford will fold.
