I mean, Russia is a joke and everything, but lets not act like the US, China and all the other national achievement crazed countries obsessed over the olympics aren't doing it.

I just saw a Powerade ad for Shakur Stevenson calling him "unknown today, undisputed tomorrow" despite having done **** all.
You think this guy would test positive considering he's already being pushed as the US Olympic messiah?
This guy couldn't fail a drug test even if he were on more steroids than Rich Piana.

big difference between cheating ahletes and state sanctioned doping. most american athletes aren't state funded. russian athletes used to literally be officers in the military. huge difference in the influence of the state in a communist or socialist country.



and you can't just accuse countries of doping and ban them. russia was investigated, and a link between the state and doping has been thoroughly uncovered. do i think american athletes are all clean? of course not. they've popped int eh past, and will contunue to pop. but to say that they dope like russians, or that the american state sponsors and facilitates their doping, requires an investigation and proof. which you know you don't have.
