Thurman wants the fight. He'll take that $4mil. And if Bob negotiated down Manny's guarantee and he's getting money on the backend then he needs Broner even more. He's not going to sell as many PPV's with anyone else.Comment

Anything over 2 million or some piece of the PPV sales these guys should take.
There is no shame in losing against Pac or FloydComment

I guess my question to Arum would be: Why isn't Manny Pacquiao guaranteed $20 million? I'm pretty sure Floyd has got offers for him to come back, and the offer would be a lot more than $20 million!! Secondly, DSG and Broner are not Chris Algeri and Brandon Rios. Thurman, Garcia, and Broner are not signed to Top Rank. You can't promise them a dream for the future, they deal with the reality of today! I still hope it's anybody except Vargas! Thurman, Garcia, or Crawford are all much better fights!Comment

Didn't Manny shoot down that he was coming back a week or two ago? Isn't this a standard one side debate by Bob Arum talking with himself & the media jedi mind trick it creates for all listening to him.Comment

Pacquiao-Bradley 3 did less than 500k PPV buys for $60 sd. Even at the full 500k PPV buys, with the $8m gate and once everyone outside gets their cut of whatever revenue stream, the total net revenue for everyone to share in maybe got up to $20m, with Arum and the fighters all needing to get paid.
With Garcia and Broner both bringing more attention/money to the table than Bradley did on that third fight, and having an understanding for the type of revenues in play, there's no way that either of the young budding stars was going to take the Pacquiao fight on a 15/85 share on the pot with Arum.Comment
