Will Crawford go in with a pre-made plan for getting by Postol's Piston-like jab, or will he simply go in, take a look for a round or two, then adapt, and take it to the mother****er!

I think this is going to be a great fight, remembered for years maybe, because it's set up to be so competitive. Somebody please talk to me!
Shouldn't be on ppv. Sales figures will bomb on this fight.

The fight should show who is the best fighter who competes at 140. Crawford is a 5 to 1 favorite in the betting odds but I think Postol has a better chance to win than that. Pacquiao makes 140 with ease. I'd like to see him fight the winner to determine who is truly the best 140 boxer fighting today.

It's really excellent. It looked like we weren't going to get the fight, too. Glad everything worked out. Hopefully enough of us hardcore fans turn out to convince the sport these fights are worthwhile.

I'm reasonably excited for this one, more because of what it means for the division rather than the style match up. Both guys can be a bit testing to watch at times but TC has that bit extra to win at this level. Postol doesn't.

Its a good fight that needed to be made and I'm glad it was but I don't think it will be as entertaining as everybody would like. I just think their styles together will make for an ugly fight. Oh, and I don't think it should be a PPV.

Agreed. Postol has one of the least entertaining styles in the sport today.

I'm excited for it. One of the rare cases of the best fighting the best. Still it shouldn't be PPV. Neither one of them has the fan base to pull it off.

                    a couple points:

-Thurman vs Porter wasn't PPV, so I didn't have to make that decision.

-The actual fight card (Thurman-Porter and Mares-Cuellar when originally announced, but even the replacement fight worked out) for Thurman-Porter looks to be better than the Crawford-Postol fight card.

-The Crawford PPV is a one-fight show, with a headlining fight that isn't big enough to get away with that, namewise or stylistically.

Have fun wasting your $50 on a fight that obviously isn't worth the PPV price; if anything, I'll check a pbp of the fight, hope to catch a nice gif on the fight, and if it's worth the time, maybe catch the fight on Youtube in a week or so. lol

I don't know bro. The usual suspects are supposed to be populating these Crawford threads, the hit and not get hit crowd, the ones who call themselves real boxing fans. I see them, instead, in the usual places, May/Pac and Golovkin threads.
