You have an excuse for every Matthysse loss.
yeah after the headbutt matthysse essentially quit which is obviously worthy of criticism but before that it was basically an even fight. postol didn't let his hands go until matthysse turned into arreola and just stood in front of postol without throwing or trying. before that postol was super hesitant and worried about mattysee's shots so he would just jab and clinch anytime matthysse got close and it was still even on the cards which shows he isn't that good at that strategy.

its strange how you dont think 100 clinches doesn't effect a fight. thats 100 times matthysse had an opportunity to throw and possibly land punches taken away. yea no biggie there.

Matthysse didn't want to work inside. He had several opportunities but did nothing in the clinch except rabbit punch. And it was nowhere near an even fight. Matthysse won some of the middle rounds until Postol completely took over and dominated.

Then up to 147 for dreamfights aplenty!

          The fight's this Saturday! Unbelieveable.
peterson just lost to garcia and diaz. hes done. broner obv has no intention of fighting anyone with a pulse. it would be nice to see him fight troyansky but he's unknown. oh wait rematch with ricky burns lol

Because they can't get past the May/Pac era. I thought their retirement would bring new beginning to the sport. It didn't.

sigh...he did nothing while postol illegally held him...you are putting the onus on the guy being cheated once again to do something extra ordinary instead of blaming the guy cheating who refuses to fight fair. and yes it was an even fight. look at the cards. postol by 1 point on 2 cards and matthysse by 1 point. also check out fan round by rouds and you will see most had it 5-4 eitehr way. some people just favor clean work over clinching and punches with notihng on them that don't land clean. yes we know postol dominated the last 2 roudns after the headbbutt no one denies that. what you are denying is that the first 8 roudns where postol constantly clinched had no role in the fight. as if the fight just started in round 9?

Glad that you're excited for it, but the fight isn't worth $50 to me, the fight isn't worth $20 + drinks to head out to see, and there's not enough value in the rest of the card, to me, to spend the $20 + drinks and expect a good night of entertainment.

imo, that's the minimum bar; for $20 + drinks, is the PPV going to be worth heading out for the night. If not, I'll find something more entertaining to do instead.
Fake boxing fan spotted. I bet you thought Thurman/Porter was worth PPV? If the 2 best at 140 fighting for supremacy in the division isn't good enough for you then go watch another sport.

That's exactly it mate...Pacquiao, Mayweather and arguing over GGG. That is still the majority of NSB's content.
Half the posters wouldn't post on here if it wasn't for those guys.

I'm hyped for the fight. The division's top 2 guys. Both unbeaten, Both quality fighters.

This fight and Kovalev Vs Ward have been a god send in today's environment of ducking, vacating and avoiding.
