Definition of coward: "a person who is contemptibly lacking in the courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things."

How many of you brave people calling Floyd a coward would have the guts to step into the ring and defeat 23 world champions? Most of the people calling him a coward wouldn't even fight an amateur, let alone have 49 professional fights.

Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers of this generation.

First off. There are like 6 belts per division .second ,most those guys were has beens with a big name or past it fighters with a name . Third, floyd took advantage of calculating his matchmaking . Fouth ,many of those fighters were smaller and undersized. Fifth, floyd took illegal ivs and waited out fighters till the right moment and ducked over 8 fighters .

    He is a coward

Beating Ward, GGG would have proven he's in the Berto, Guerrero and Ortiz league worthy to fight Floyd LOL

      Understand the logic...

One day he fights a guy because he has the title (Baldomir), the other day Floyd don't give a fack about the title but fight for the money (Hatton). but remains avoiding the dangerous fight (Margarito).

Not a coward at all, Floyd is a courageous man like any fighter, but he needed social pressure to fight Mosley and Cotto.
I remember B.Kenny and RA the rugged man called him out for not fighting the bests.
Except it was Cotto's team that said Cotto was too green to fight Mayweather, and it was Shane Mosley who said he had a tooth ache and wanted to go on vacation, and Oscar Dela Hoya who said Mayweather was high risk, low reward when Mayweather wanted to fight all of these cowards.

Baldomir was not just a title holder, Baldomir was the WBC AND Lineal Champ, also would was unofficially the undesputed champ (beat the former undesputed but didn't pay sanctioning fees for all the belts), and also Baldomir was unbeaten in EIGHT YEARS. He also walked around at a whooping 181lbs and came in weighing in the 160s on fight night.

Those are the facts. Margarito had a paper title that rightlfully belonged to Baldomir, no comparison AT ALL!

Casemoyar, Prince Naseem, and Tzyu all ducked Floyd.

Floyd called out Casemoya and Prince Naseem in the Floyd-Corrales post fight interview, and what did he get in return? Crickets....

Even Larry Merchant said that there was no way any of those guys would get in the ring with Floyd, and we all know how much Larry hates Floyd, so for him to say that.

When Floyd was at 140, right after he beat Henry Brusseles, again, Larry asked him who he wanted to fight next. And Floyd called out Mosley and Oscar Dela Hoya, and then went on to say that he calling out ALL THE BEST FIGHTERS FROM 154 to 140, what did he get from Tzyu and the others? Crickets.....

Larry's follow up question was why Floyd was calling out all the fighters from 154 to 140 and getting ready to move up when there are solid fighters at 140 (ie. Tzyu).

Floyd told him that he did try to negotiate with those guys but they all declined to fight.

True story, go check out the post fight interviews of Floyd-Corrales, Floyd-Henry Brusseles, and Floyd-Shamba Mitchel.

Yawl new generation boxing fans have been brainwashed. Floyd was the one being ducked all the time, not the other way around.

Get your facts straight son, you got internet and youtube, watch the post fight interviews I told you about.

Ps. I will admit that Floyd totally *****ed out when Margarito confronted him in that other interview, that was really bad. Sure, he was caught off guard, but still, damn!

              its obvious

Mosley had a toothache and wanted a vacation in 06

and just like he said when he fights them, insert excuses....people made excuses for every win, and he said they would back in 09...they proved him right

the best man won, people just need to move on

Hatton vs Mayweather was supposed to be at 140 but hatton admitted he wasnt ready also his team did in 04-05
He never fought a great fighter in his prime. FACT

He has been carrefully calculating his match making.

Not denying he probably was the best of our generation, but he was a matchmaking genius.

Most of them were smaller? Lmao! Terrible lie there buddy.

Floyd was outweighed by his opposition in 99 percent of his fights, lol, even Pacquaio outweighed him by 3 lbs (Pac was 152lbs according to HBO scales and Mayweather was 149lbs according to his medical report (NSAC scales).

                Lmao!

Ps. Mayweather has never weighed more that 150lbs on ANY fight night scale, not even when he faced Canelo.

So Mosley and Cotto had to fight Floyd when Floyd want it? not the opposite...

There definitely was a social pressure.

And this social pressure helped Floyd, because without Merchant, Kenny and RA the rugged asking him to fight a live body, his record would be "worse" IMHO, worse to make a case as being TBE.
