Watch now he has Mayweather hands and needs a certain glove type and a special hand wrapping technique.

Watch him become the Heavyweight Mayweather. Gonna have to become a defensive wizard cuz his hands don't work no more.

will his opponents also have to wear special padded gloves so they don't hurt him?

That's exactly what it is. Long, muscular frame but thin bones and joints. You can see it in how skinny his wrists are. I wear Winning gloves with a gel knuckle guard and double wraps and can still hurt my hands if I throw full force on the bag, even with strict form.
I'm willing to bet Wilder gets tendon and joint issues easily too.

(pic doesn't have much to do with anything but found it when I was looking for a pic of his injured hand)

broken hand, needs two surgeries giving free shots to his body and still this was the best Arreola could do? Pathetic.

Larry Holmes had the same body type and never had these problems. The difference is Holmes knew how to BOX

Yeah, that's nonsense. His inaccuracy and his tendency to windmill his punches seem like more logical reasons for his injuries. When I re-watched the fight this morning, I noticed that his right hand landed to Arreola's shoulder and elbow multiple times. When he threw the right hand down the middle, he pretty much hurt Chris every time. Then he'd get excited and throw some of the most video game-like, exaggerated punches I've ever seen.
