That 97% KO percentage isn't as impressive when you consider only 3% of his opponents have been above club level.

      1 outta 37 ain't bad.

the guy is soft yet has a great body.

i knew right away wilder was a fraud when he couldnt put away charlie zelenoff.

          Fury got this.

What the first article said about being too strong for his bone structure is a real thing. I'm pretty tall and have similar problems so I know what that's about. Hope it doesn't limit his career.

you don't think it has anything to do with throwing off balance no technique windmill punches?

I think it is a matter of the tensile strength of bone being less than the mechanical energy Wilder can generate while throwing a full power punch.

Would he generate less mechanical energy with proper punches? Probably not so.....

I noticed this too. He was using the jab and the left hook a lot but the right hand became con****uously absent.

The power and leverage he generates seems to be too much for his body to take. It's fair to question whether he should throw with better technique....or whether he needs a better hand wrapper....or whether he needs special exercises to strengthen the hand and arm.

But it's likely that this is going to keep happening and plague him for the rest of his career.
