What post May/Paq era? They still can't stop making threads about them. A lot of fans want to focus on current top fighters fighting each other. Brook vs Garcia didn't get made. Thurman vs Garcia didn't get made. Jacobs is fighting Mora.
Anyone enjoying the post May Pacq Era of Boxing

At least Manny and Floyd fought actual threats, not Amir Khan at 155
The fanboy wars still live on through Ward vs GGG and PBC vs HBO
The welterweight division has regressed dramatically since the two elite fighters retired. This has opened up a lot of options for others to be the marquee division, which is exciting. However, none really stand out atm... light heavyweight being a clear front runnerComment

Everyone seems focused on retiring early. Maidana has retired. Matthysse is following suit. Thurman, Porter are now one-fight-a-year fighters. Garcia and Broner are following suit. Quillin had his first loss and seemed to have disappeared. Lara and Andrade are not talking about fighting each other. We'll probably be having more Wilder/Arreola type of fights on days to come.Comment

Somewhat, but it doesn't really feel like a new era just yet beause I fully expect Floyd to return and Arum's already discussing the return of the Pacman this Fall.Comment
