The money offered by Arum is the most that Garcia would ever make in a single fight. If he fought Floyd Mayweather, Garcia would not get paid anymore than the $4 million that Arum is offering for Pacquaio. I don't know why clowns like Broner and Garcia think they should make Mayweather-type money anytime they fight an opponent who will actually hit them back.
I guess Garcia thinks he can fight two or three stiffs with far less risk and make the same amount of money overall. He is correct, but he needs to recognize that he is not a great fighter, just a good one. One of those lesser fighters, even someone like Broner or Berto could land the right punch and take his 0. Then, he would be relegated to the level of Chad Dawson -- fighting for peanuts against D-level fighters.
If the money is around what Tim Bradley made, it's definitely fair.
4 million + ppv cut is fair. Beat PAC and make more $$$. LOL, these guys know they'll probably lose to PAC.
Garcia, Broner were offered big opportunities to build their brand. idiots. They don't understand how many viewers would see them if they accepted a fight against PAC.
It's ok... maybe Thurman will step up to the plate.
"It's a life changing fight that deserves life changing compensation." lol, he wants that retirement check because he knows Pac would put him out of commission.
Floyd Mayweather didn't get life-changing compensation when he fought De La Hoya. He earned life-changing money after he beat De La Hoya. Bernard Hopkins didn't get life-changing money when he fought Felix Trinidad. He earned it after he beat Trinidad. Roy Jones didn't get life-changing money when he fought James Toney. However, he did afterwards.
If you want life-changing money, you have to earn it. None of these clowns fighting in Haymon's stable, Santa Cruz, Garcia, Thurman, Broner, Wilder, are willing to take risks and sacrifices needed to earn Mayweather-type money. They want everything given to them. In Wilder's case, he thinks he shouldn't even have to fight to earn record paydays.
I and starting to feel shame for calling myself a boxing fan.
So what's this article even saying exactly? That Danny is getting offered career high money to fight Pacquiao, but he's going to duck him anyway, because he'll eventually make that money back fighting Berto a bunch of times, and he knows he can't beat Pacquiao?
Well we already knew that would happen. Danny Garcia is the biggest ducker in boxing. Does not care about legacy, or career high paydays. Only cares about getting as much money as possible to fight easy fights, and doing that over and over and over again. He doesn't want to dare to be great, dare to beat Pacquiao, and start making 10-15 mil a fight, and potentially become a 200 millionaire, because he knows he can't beat Pacquiao. He knows exactly what his ceiling is, and he doesn't want to risk going above that.
Arum probably offered Danny 3mil while saying pac would make 20mil...to broke fans that seems cool but to business men and boxers its BS
Ridiculous. Floyd paid Maidana 3 million and Berto 4 million while he had a 32 million guarantee.
Tell me when has Danny ever headlined a PPV himself. He has sold less than 1 ppv in his lifetime. His career high is 2 million vs Lucas. 4 million is a fine offer for Danny. If he wins, he becomes the next ppv star. To be a boss, you need to beat one. Learn the game.

He absolutely got life changing money for the Oscar fight. $12m guarantee, $25m in total. The year before Arum was telling him he couldn't get beyonf $8m in total for that fight.
