Floyd did have ppv exposure before that however with Gatti, Judah, and Baldomir...so a different situation imo. The point is that Danny has not taking the big risk vs elite fighters. He didn't deserve 2 decisions, beat Lucas which was a good win, but it was a foul fest and he hit him with 20 or 30 low blows to keep from getting knocked out. Danny just isn't that good imo.

The statement was that Floyd didn't get "life-changing money" against Oscar. He absolutely did.

I would rather see Thurman fight Pacquiao. Style wise so much more watchable than Garcia predictably get outboxed.

Someone please explain to gift Garcia that its called paying your dues... This dude right here should be honored to step in the ring with Pac. I don't know about this generation of boxers. This whole greatness without risk is a new concept to me.

He may have, I'm not arguing that, I'm just saying Floyd had 3 PPVs that he headlined prior which lead to that money that came with the Oscar fight, so Floyd did pay his dues beforehand. Now he might have gotten life changing money, but that is the fight catapulted him to superstar, and in order to do that he had to win a fight that he had to take the glove size, ring size, less of everything etc. I believe that's more the point here than anything. The difference is that Floyd won, Garcia would lose, and he knows it, we all know it.

Ok Im aware. I didn't draw a comparison to Floyd, he did. And his premise was all wrong.

Is no one connecting the dots here...pedraza was offered good $$ to defend the title vs tank Davis in September ..pr vs African-American. We now now Danny is looking to fight in September. We also know Floyd would always fight in September; furthermore l, a fight between him and Danny pr vs African-American. Floyd vs Danny in September with Davis and pedraza in the undercard, prolly co-feature

Dont forget about Badou Jack, if Floyd returns, Badou Jack will surely be on the undercard.
