Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia Eyes September Return, Clarifies Pacquiao Offer

BIRMINGHAM-Danny Garcia came into town simply anticipating his role as expert analyst for this weekend's edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox. What he didn't expect was to have to offer an explanation for a fight that never really had a chance of taking place next.

LOL that's what you call a clarification?

this guy's reputation is more pathetic than his messed up eyebrows.

How can you be so ****** to turn down a 3-4 mill fight offer to fight a living legend?

whether you believe you are being short changed with this offer (you're not), you cannot pass up an offer to fight a boxer of pacquiao's stature. Sharing a ring with pacquiao win or lose, you will benefit from it from future fights just for the sole fact that you have his name on your resume win or lose.

this is a very short sighted move. If you fight pacquiao, you improve your future economic viability immediately.

The only justifiable reason i can think of for turning this fight is if Al haymon has already promised garcia a floyd fight.....

if not this was an incredibly ****** decision.

Why fight Pac when you can fight Salka for the same money?
        Thank you Al Haymon

Look guys this Tropical Mexican was paying off Postol so he wouldn't have to fight him at 140....Now Postol and Crawford are gonna tangle on pay per view......say what you want of Arum but he is not scared to churn his roster and eventually pit his fighters in some tough affairs....I would rather see the winner of Crawford and Postol fight manny because Crawford or Postol have a higher probability of knocking out manny...now when it comes to Crawford when he switches to unorthodox it is because he wants to establish the jab to set up everything else and manny well he only has one gear ....

Garcia is gonna fight Berto. It's almost obvious. The Garcia/Haymon way is to take minimal risk while making good money.

Damn wtf is danny smoking. I guess haymon would pay hI'm more cash for a safer fight. Dlgarcia would have a shot at beating pac but I guess his confidence is low. Either that or haymon told him don't do it.
