People underrate Austin because his only win since 2009 was against a guy with a losing record. If you actually watch the fights he is always winning until the hometown stoppage/robbery decision/bogus DQ/fanman parachuting into the ring.

Austin was able to drop Ibragimov which Wlad and Holyfield failed to do. Yet those two are considered greater than Austin, wtf?

didnt see the fight, but he was in the front on the scorecards against stieverne before he was knocked out.

But not sure, if this is more to overrating Stieverne or underrating Austin lol

He's not all that bad but he needs to fight with a lil more fury and fire and throw his punches with bad intentions. You can't be a HW and not throw mean punches. If he doesn't change this facet of his game, he'll be exposed pretty quickly when he steps up in class

Washington Footwork is Extremely Impressive for his size! Would like to see him stand on his punches and do more offensively, he fights too safe which makes for very boring fights for most

I dunno...if Washington comes in as timid as he did against Mansour, Austin could be more trouble than people think. Washington was terrified of Mansour, and didn't want to fight him, despite a huge size advantage. I understand Mansour can take your head off, but geez.

The thing about Austin is, he's a "territorial" fighter . If you keep your distance, you're okay . If you try to step into his space and back him up, you're going to get a ferocious response . We'll see how Washington reacts to that.

I was hoping would start to show some urgency, but it's clearly never going to happen.

My first time watching the guy was last April vs Chambers, and I don't wish to see him again. It was painful to watch. And the fact that he was looked at as a possible opponent for Wilder is even more sad. This guy fights like he doesn't have a heartbeat. Just dead.
