Floyd is pushing Davis too fast! I would've waited for 2017 before bringing him to the next level!

Damn! That's a major step up. I guess he wants to know what he has.

Massive step up. Don't know if he's ready for it tbh.

Wow that's a great fight, huge step up for Davies

This will probably be on Danny's undercard

These are one of those fights that if Davis wins Floyd will look like a matchmaking genius, if Davis loses Floyd will look like a dumb promoter for making this fight so early in Davis career

Davis advantages is that he seemingly has the power and explosive style, he's a southpaw. Pedraza's advantages is his height and skills, he has lesser power and also has a couple of decent wins while Davis has no decent wins

Davis chance is that he Malignaggis Pedraza with his style like Porter did. Malignaggi offerered good skills but not enough power to keep Porter off him. If Davis goes that route and Pedraza can't punch his way out of trouble and Davis can cut the ring off on him, then I can see Davis knocking him out

He wants to be the next Mayweather you have to step up. Floyd was what? 19 or 20 when he beat Genaro Hernandez? Very unproven at that stage in his career. This is a sink or swim fight and the types of risks that are necessary to become a superstar.

I like it. I'm tired of fighters not stepping up until their mid to late 30s. The sport needs young, baby superstars to thrive. Too many old heads.

A hungry young titlist vs. a hungry young(er) prospect. Douglass got drowned by Khurtsidze, but luckily for Davis, Pedraza isn't a big puncher or pressure fighter. The worse that can happen is he looks foolish and gets UD'ed.
