This is a really great post. Garcia is hated too. Arum knew to go after the two most hated fighters in boxing. If they said yes it would sell well. If they said no, they would get backlash in the media. So Arum makes Vargas vs Pac (which is a fight I would like to see) and the media pushes the fight because "Broner and Garcia priced themselves out". But they won't ask about Crawford. There was an article on here last week saying Crawford was never a considered for Manny and will never be. It was basically ignored and Manny took no heat for ducking a young skilled fighter. But people want to see him fight the easiest champ at welterweight and a guy who has accomplished nothing at welterweight.

Neither of those are cherry picks, even as flawed as Broner is. Garcia is definitely no cherry pick, that's a quality fight if anything.

Garcia would be a good win for either Manny or Floyd, any objective fan would understand that. Broner is a decent win at best.

What is Danny's best win at Welterweight? Paulie or Guerrero? What is Broner's best win at welterweight? Paulie? Vargas would beat both of those guys. It's my opinion that Vargas is better than Broner and Garcia. He had a chance to prove it by fighting Brook but the fight didn't happen. Garcia and Broner have done nothing at welterweight to make anyone think they're better than Vargas.
