Does HBO just guess the fight night weights?

According to Laced Up they do. I thought they were weights from fighters stepping on HBO scales and they didn't show fight night weights of fighters that didn't? Laced up seems to think they just guess them.

Some posters here with agendas pick and choose when to believe them. They know who they are.

Some fighters don't do the unofficial weigh in and therefore the networks put the second weigh in weight as fight night weight. Happened with Ward-Barrera for example. Ward was listed as 186 but that was actually the second weigh in.

Fortunately, good fighters as GGG, Pacquiao or Kovalev never refuse a fight night weight because they got nothing to hide.

Others like Mayweather, Canelo etc.. hide they real fight night weight.

What 2nd weigh in weight? Why would Ward-Barrera have a 2nd weigh in?

Jesus ****ing christ you're a moron.

Because it was an IBF eliminator title bout.

Ward and Barrera will meet in 12-round IBF number one position and mandatory position eliminator bout televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing® beginning at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.
OAKLAND, CA - Two-Time World Champion and top-rated pound-for-pound fighter Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs) and number one rated IBF light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera (17-0, 12 KOs) will collide at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.

I remember reading about the second weigh in hours before the fight and Ward was 186.

          Who's the ****ing moron now?

The 2nd weigh in is only for title fights. The rule is they aren't allowed to gain over 10 lbs. 175-186 is 11lbs you moron.

I've heard they just ask the fighter.

In Molina's fight with Ruslan he exposed how Showtime does it. Basically the interviewer asked him about his weight and quoted the unofficial weight Showtime listed in the tale of the tape. And Molina flat out said that weight is bogus no way I weigh that much you guys had me step on a scale with shoes and all my clothes on, I had my wallet, phone, keys in my jeans. I think these networks either flat out make up the weights or have them step on a scale but there is no consistency or accuracy if guys are weighed with full clothes 5 mins after they get to the arena.

But idiots around here swear by these unofficial bogus weights when it suits their arguments and ignore them when they don't.

I know it's only 10, but I remember pretty clear reading Ward was 186 hours before the fight. I asked the IBF and I'm waiting for their confirmation.
PS: Elimination bouts share the same rules than championship bouts.

                    .......

Post the rules then. It pretty much looks like you're just lying.
